Accessibility

The Visualizer includes controls and keyboard support for a range of visual and motion needs.

Display controls​

  • Font size — use the Aa − and + controls to scale the interface.
  • High contrast — strengthens foreground and boundary contrast.
  • Reduced motion — minimizes animation and transitions. The application also respects your operating system's reduced-motion preference.

These settings are stored by your browser between visits.

Keyboard navigation​

  • Move between controls with Tab and Shift+Tab. A visible focus indicator shows the active control.
  • Activate a focused button or filter value with Enter or Space.
  • Close dialogs, and exit or collapse the Selected Patients drawer, with Escape.

Specific interactions that are keyboard-operable:

  • Filter values — focus a value and press Enter or Space to select or clear it.
  • Hierarchy groups — the expand controls beside grouped values are focusable and can be toggled from the keyboard.
  • Patient dots — focus a dot and press Enter or Space to open that patient.
  • Drawer tabs — patient tabs and their close controls are reachable by keyboard.
  • Timeline points — focus a document point and press Enter or Space to open it.
  • Patient Summary links and menus — source-linked items and their document pickers are operable by keyboard.
  • Document mentions — highlighted text mentions in the Document Viewer can be toggled by keyboard.

Live updates​

The patient count and result updates are announced to assistive technology as they change, so you are not left with a stale number.

Accessibility Statement​

An Accessibility Statement is available from Home. It records the current conformance:

  • Target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • Status: Partially conformant

If a control is difficult to use with assistive technology, note the page, the control's label, your browser, and your assistive-technology version when reporting the issue.
