Guergana K. Savova is the principal investigator for DeepPhe. She is the Patricia F. Brennan Chair, Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and a faculty member in the Computational Health Informatics Program at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Her research focuses on natural language processing of clinical narratives, including semantic and discourse processing, information extraction, coreference, and temporal relations. She has worked on open-source clinical NLP systems including Apache cTAKES and DeepPhe.
