Sean Finan is DeepPhe’s principal software architect and engineer, and Research Computing Principal Engineer in the Natural Language Processing Lab at the Computational Health Informatics Program of Boston Children’s Hospital.
Sean designs the DeepPhe ontologies and the DeepPhe NLP Patient Summarizer, and helps guide the course and development of the overall DeepPhe system.
Sean is a leading contributor to the related Apache cTAKES clinical NLP project,
an active member of HealthNLP .org, and an advocate for open-source software for science.
